This picture captures the people and place that motivated me throughout these six weeks of research work. As a research intern at The Justice Lab I worked in this office building along with my fellow Laidlaw fellows as well as my colleagues/mentors. Being able to work at a designated office space helped motivate me by shifting my mindset to understating I had been given a small portion of the responsibility in accomplishing a larger team goal. Additionally, this was the place in which I met many people from different backgrounds who helped guide me and expand my ways of thinking. The conference room (the room shown in the picture) was our designate space for team meetings and group work sessions.
