"Whose City is This?" Berlin's Creative Communities, Big Tech & the Right to Shape the Future

This paper examines how Berlin's creative communities respond to Big Tech's expansion, gentrification, and AI infrastructure. Drawing on 18 interviews and six weeks of fieldwork, we show that art exposes Big Tech's claims of technological inevitability and perceives coauthorship in their future.
