Report - Sea Ice Flooding Observations via Remote Sensing

Sea ice flooding often results from a thick snow layer over thinner ice, leading to negative freeboard and seawater seeping into the snowpack. This process is identified in situ during field expeditions; the project explores if it can be detected remotely from changes in brightness temperature (TB).
