During my research internship for the Laidlaw program, I had the opportunity to work at the FAR Laboratory of Architecture and Construction at EPFL, directed by Professor Paolo Tombesi. I have been working on the initial phase of a research project on female-led architectural practices, which aims to understand the nuts and bolts and the impact of offices created and led by women. During this first stage, I started to investigate the existing data on this topic, collect the most relevant information and contact other researchers working on similar subjects so that they could potentially collaborate with us on this  project. This research should help to launch a further investigation on this matters.
