How SMART was my LiA? | Digital Tookit for Climate Justice Volunteering

After six weeks of literature research and having traversed the mountains of Norway in search of inspiration, I've completed my digital toolkit for climate justice volunteering, and so my Leadership in Action (LiA) watch has ended. From proposal to conclusion, I reveal how SMART my LiA turned out.

Over the last six weeks I have been working towards a digital toolkit that aims to help organise climate justice volunteering projects. Working with Localise Youth Volunteering in Dublin, Ireland I spent my LiA conducting extensive literature research and used inspiration from initiatives in Bergen, Norway that could be adapted in Dublin. The hope with this toolkit is that young people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds can partake in impactful climate justice volunteering that could open doors for them to climb the social ladder by recording their volunteering work. Because of this hope this toolkit will be made publicly available.
