On our final day we had productive and intellectual discussions regarding possible solutions to the barriers that the young people addressed the previous days. We mind mapped these solutions with regards to the people they could go to to address these.

Following this, they were tasked to match the solutions to the people on a grid to allow us to see it better and categorise the solutions. This session was full of the young people discussing these solutions which went really well because they had really good ideas, including incentivising active travel which is a feasible idea that could really have a positive impact on trying to increase active travel amongst young people.

The three days at Kentmere really helped us to gather data from the young people. Often we also asked them to perceive some barriers through the eyes of their younger siblings or friends so that they could give us a fuller picture of the barriers to active travel.
