Barriers to Neurodivergent Diagnosis and Care Among South Asian Families in the U.S. Poster
This study examines the social, cultural, and institutional barriers that may delay autism diagnosis and ongoing care for South Asian children, with particular attention to where these barriers emerge along the pathway from a caregiver’s first concern to receiving appropriate support.
