Earlier this week, I prepared a presentation prepared for my colleagues at the Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies in Tokyo. I looked at Imamura v. General Electric Co, a case about environmental accountability and nuclear international law in the wake of the Fukushima disaster.

Visit to Yashio, Shinagawa-ku

Last week, I joined my supervisor at the Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies, Dr. Yamashita, on his trip to advise the city planning board in Yashio, an outer community of Tokyo. It was a look into city planning and sustainability in Tokyo, and how it can address community concerns.
