Half Way LIA Reflections on Developing my Laidlaw Values
As I pass the halfway point of my project, I’m filled with a sense of accomplishment and growth. This experience has been incredible, offering me insights into becoming a more ethical leader and a global citizen.
Week 3 LIA: Make_Sense, Mexico
This week was focused on defining both the ambition and limitations of our project, and creating an inclusive and engaging environment with our volunteers to make the most of their vast skills sets to match the requirements of our goals.
Week 2 LIA: Make_Sense, Mexico
Within week 2, we focused on creating a direction and strategy for our project, and defining important milestones, including ensuring that the staff at Rennueva are confident in using the new technology, and that it meets their needs, as well as being effective at communicating client impact.
Week 1 LIA: Make_Sense, Mexico
After a tumultuous start to my time in Mexico, including 2 late flights, a long diversion, 3 days of lost luggage and 46 hours without sleep, my project started as a challenge. Despite the initial journey, my 1st week has been incredible and full of inspiring people and many learning opportunities.
