About FrameWorks UK

FrameWorks UK helps charities and organisations communicate about social issues in ways that build understanding and support for change. Its research looks at framing: the choices we make about which ideas to share, what to emphasise and how to say it. FrameWorks UK is the sister organisation of the FrameWorks Institute in the US.

Responsibilities & Ideal Background

Scholars can support FrameWorks UK's research and communications, for example by producing literature reviews, developing tools to track the organisation's impact in the media, proofreading reports and joining analysis meetings on interview data. The team is collaborative and supportive, with regular check-ins. Work is hybrid, with around two days a week in the London office.

A good fit is anyone interested in research, with qualitative or quantitative experience. A background in communications is also useful. Scholars should familiarise themselves with FrameWorks UK's research before applying, as the work is quite specialised. Accommodation in central London is expensive, so it is worth looking further out, given the limited days in the office.

LiA Champion

Curious about this project but not sure where to start? Our LiA Champion can share candid insights from their placement in London, where they built a media tracking tool that the team now uses and produced a literature review for an upcoming research project.
