I am an Undergraduate Philosophy, Politics & Economics student at the University of York. My Laidlaw Scholarship research focuses on Profiteering from poverty: ‘To what extent is the high demand for supported living accommodation used to profiteer by charitable institutions?’ Throughout my work, I remain passionate about supporting the local community through local government and community groups, with a focus on poverty prevention, financial scrutiny & accountability and diversifying our decision-makers.
