About Sabrina Jade Shih
A child of immigrants from Taiwan and Malaysia, Sabrina Shih has always been intrigued by how people construct their notions of “home” and either abandon them, fight for them, or must leave them. She has a particular interest in indigenous rights and climate-induced migration and works to support and address these issues while at Columbia. Hoping to major in data science and human rights, Sabrina plans to use her interdisciplinary education to advocate for legal solutions to the world’s urgent environmental and humanitarian issues.
