Week 6 was bittersweet, defined by final goodbyes from the cantagallo community, comunidad peru, make_sense, and my fellow laidlaw scholars.
On Tuesday, we went one last time to our organizations were our final meeting was conducted, closing the end of our work with make_sense and Comunidad Peru. However, while we ended our time at Cantagallo, we continued coordinating meetings with Selina in regards to long term selling of the artisans products.
Last day of the program was dedicated to reflection and commemoration, were we held our reflection interviews and our closing ceremony .
the past 6 weeks have been memorable, working with the Cantagallo Community & Comunidad Peru. i have been very fortunate to have met such passionate and dedicated individuals and I am excited to continue my work with Comunidad Peru as an official, virtual, volunteer with the organization.
