Week 4 in Poznań: Strengthening Digital Presence & Deepening Collaboration
Week 4 was a deeply productive and developmental week, where I balanced strategic digital marketing work with wider organisational support and volunteer coordination. It was one of those weeks that reminded me how leadership often emerges through adaptability, communication, and the ability to keep momentum even when circumstances shift.
A major focus was strengthening Logos NGO’s digital presence. I made significant progress on the Instagram strategy by completing the volunteer guidelines page- a structured, practical resource outlining best practices, safeguards, and clear expectations for volunteers creating content, as well as producing a content calendar. I also drafted a detailed shopping list for next week’s volunteer room renovation and proposed a refreshed structure for the 2026 annual report to address long‑standing communication gaps.
I spent the latter part of the week finalising the LinkedIn strategy report. This involved analysing staff interviews, extracting insights on expectations for the platform, and developing a posting schedule, content templates, and a clear implementation plan. With Logos’ LinkedIn presence currently minimal, this strategy will serve as a foundation for building credibility, visibility, and more meaningful engagement with young people and partners.
Collaboration played a major role in my progress. I communicated openly with colleagues, asked for feedback, and navigated the fact that everyone was working on different projects. These conversations helped refine my outputs and reinforced how valuable teamwork is in a fast‑moving NGO environment.
Several Change Maker Values were visible in my practice: Determined, as I stayed committed to delivering high‑quality work despite time constraints; Curious, as I sought colleagues’ feedback and involved them in shaping final outputs; and Fast, as I produced strong deliverables within a compressed timeframe. I also relied heavily on people, process, and performance capacities- from relationship‑building and communication to impact measurement, design thinking, and critical reflection.
Ethical engagement was another theme. I learned that caring for my wellbeing doesn’t diminish my contribution; it strengthens it. The empathy and understanding I received from colleagues made it easier to maintain high standards while acknowledging my limits. It also highlighted how supportive relationships can shape a positive working environment and enable high‑quality outputs even during challenging weeks.
Looking ahead to Week 5, I plan to protect focused work time earlier in the week and communicate progress more proactively so collaboration and feedback can happen sooner. I also want to continue strengthening Curious and Determined as we move into the volunteer room renovation and deeper strategy development. My aim is to ensure everyone feels included, heard, and empowered because strong leadership is built on shared ownership and collective insight.
Week 4 reinforced that leadership is not just about producing polished outputs: it’s about adaptability, clarity, and showing up consistently for the people you work with. I’m proud of what I achieved this week and excited to carry these lessons into the next phase of the project.
