Last Week I began my LIA journey in Mexico City with Make_Sense. I can't believe already a week has past and I am already well into my second week!

After two flights over a span of 24 hours we arrived in Mexico City, to a beautiful 25C in a vibrant and diverse city! We opened the week with two amazing lectures on Climate Change and Community Empowerment (indigenous communities to LGBT+ memebers) and how we can best adapt our projects over the next 6 weeks to best support these themes.

Afterwards we meet with a indigenous supreme Chief  of the Misawa tribe to discuss how gentrification, urbanisation and principally discrimination has affected the safety and livlihoods of their community. It was incredibly eye-opening and and I am very grateful to see how we can incorporate her knowledge into our projects to increase long term liability!
