The morning I met the ghost

Just wanted to share a slightly funny story with my terrible writing :) (if possible) Also, it's an excuse to inform that I updated my LiA post, and added my contacts on the Network + soon I will also (maybe, if I'm comfortable enough) publish a small vlog or video.

In the dim, early morning of my trip from China to Japan for the Leadership in Action project, I had a flight from Shanghai to Kagoshima. I had slept only four hours that night, but my excitement for the adventure ahead made it suffice for the whole operation.

Preoccupied about being late, I called a taxi from my hotel, hoping to arrive well in advance to the airport. When the car arrived, I was met by an old gentleman driving an equally old and gracious car. Inflamed by the expectation of my own Odyssey, I quickly loaded my luggage, got into the car, and mentally prepared myself for the beginning of what felt like an important journey (and indeed it was :) ).

Then, just as we had begun driving, the car suddenly descended into complete chaos. The sharp alarm started blaring, the blinding lights began flashing, and for a moment everything seemed to go completely wrong at once. Tense that I might not have prepared well enough for my flight, I turned to the driver in growing agitation and asked what on earth was happening.

The driver, equally distraught, said that ghosts must have followed me from the hotel! And to think that I had a flight just a few hours later to bring me good luck!

Anyway, we arrived on time, and the Leadership in Action was transformative, and amazingly so. :P
