Hello everyone! I am Rafia, a proud member of the Laidlaw Cohort 2024. I am currently pursuing a degree in Accounting and Finance at the University of Leeds, having just completed my first year. I am originally from Bangladesh, I am thrilled to announce that I will be starting my research this summer on "AI-Driven Circular Economy Transformation: A More-Than-Human Exploration Through Generative AI Interviews," under the guidance of Dr. Rosario Michel Villarreal. This project aims to delve into the transformative potential of AI in fostering sustainable economic practices.

My experience in the Laidlaw residential programme has been nothing short of amazing. Even though, I am quite upset that I could not join the second one, because I had to go back home really urgently. However, in the first one I have learned so many life-changing tips and project management ideas that I am eager to apply to my research. The skills and insights gained have already started shaping my approach and I cannot wait to see where this journey takes me.
