Research Day 3 (05/07/21)

introduction to coding software

Like Comment

Today I had an introduction to the coding software I will be using for my project - however, there was a quite a few technical issues throughout the day meaning I couldn't get as done as much as I'd hoped. The software was hard to access, and then I found the software difficult to use as it was so slow. I've had a few practices now so hopefully I will be able to get on with coding tomorrow and make up some lost time later in the week after some of the Laidlaw events :)

I'm a 2nd year psychology MSci student specialising in developmental disorders. My project focuses around the development attention in infants and if certain maternal strategies scaffold joint attention and how this varies cross culturally in the UK and Uganda.

I'm really excited for the Laidlaw programme by building my confidence through the leadership programme and exploring my passion for research further!
