Press release from the Princess Grace Hospital (Centre Hospitalier Princesse Grace)

Lord and Lady Laidlaw, generous and loyal supporters of the CHPG in the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment, have just donated a sum of 1,070,000 euros to the CHPG.

This donation will be used to finance the purchase of HIFU, a high-intensity focused ultrasound system for the treatment of fibroids and endometriosis lesions.

This equipment will be used under MRI for non-invasive treatments, and will be in use later this year.

"Uterine fibroids are the most common pelvic tumour in women of child-bearing age and many avoid treatment in fear of losing the ability to have children. I hope our donation will help more women to receive this innovative, non-invasive treatment and continue living happy, healthy lives,” – said Lord Laidlaw.

The Princess Grace Hospital would like to thank Lord and Lady Laidlaw for their continued support and the improvements they have made possible in the treatment of pelvic pathologies.
