What went well?

The progress I made; what was achieved and done

In week 2, our group has already worked out the project outline and set different topics. For example, I am responsible for dealing with substance uses disorder and psychotic disorder. We have done an array of researches include statistics and current treatments. We have also come up with some solutions that hope to tackle the problems.

What could have been done differently?

Things that did not get done and/or could be changed

Maybe we can do some more research on the comparisons between Fijian government and the international government. For examples, we can compare the current policies and their relative effectiveness, in order to have a better understanding on the issues.

Week 2

What did I learn about myself when working with others?

Contributions, behaviours and values I exhibited

We all come from different backgrounds and therefore we have different points of view on certain issues. Moreover, we all have different time tables; therefore, the most challenging part is to come up with a decision that favour us all. Luckily, I acknowledged that I am to a certain degree a responsible person where I can complete my parts a few days before the internal deadlines, so do my teammates. Overall, we are working well.

What did I learn about leadership?

Leadership attributes and insights I developed

I am not the leader in the group. There is not an assigned one, but I am grateful that one of my fellows take up the leadership role in the group and started to run everything. Therefore, it is very appreciative to learn that a good leadership role/ good leader is vital in running things smoothly.

What do I want to develop or focus on next?

What I still need to develop

We will continue with our project, so do our presentation question that ask us to reflect international methods to local problems.
