Hello! My name is Paige Maylath and I'm a rising junior at Georgetown University. I am a Science, Technology, and International Affairs major in the School of Foreign Service and I am originally from Columbia, SC.

This summer, I am researching the interaction between gender attitudes, militarism, and democratic institution. I'm examining the ways that gender attitudes and state militarization might predict democratic backsliding.

Outside of research, I work at the Department of Justice in the Environmental Crimes Section. I also just finished the book Auhority by Jeff VanderMeer, so I am looking for something new to start.
