Emma’s research project explores international responses to modern slavery and their relation to business in the US, UK and EU. She asks the question “what obligations have been put on businesses to publicise what they’re doing to fight modern slavery and human trafficking?”. Emma believes this project has been an amazing opportunity to combine her interest in modern slavery with her knowledge of law to produce knowledge that she feels might make an impact.
