Two-Thirds of the World Doesn't Exist Yet: How Population Projections to 2150 Redraw the Global Tobacco Epidemic

United Nations projections end at 2100. Extending them to 2150 shows that two-thirds of person-years at stake belong to people not yet born; conventional discount rates remove half of these and shift projected tobacco mortality away from regions where the epidemic is still growing.
