Rethinking Heritage: Studying Resilient Pasts and Presents in Times of Conflict
My essay addresses the lack of writing about the institutions responsible for creating cultural heritage policy in Latin America and proposes a new historical analytical lens for use by other scholars, tying together heritage policy and wider social and political changes across the region.
