For my Leadership in Action project, I worked with the Bali Children Foundation (BCF), an NGO providing education access to underprivileged children across rural Bali. I designed and implemented an automated data pipeline connecting Kobo field data collection to Airtable via webhook integration, tracking literacy, numeracy, and attendance data for over 35,000 students across 60+ schools. I also built custom TypeScript dashboards to align reporting with BCF's key performance indicators, mentored university-bound students on academic preparation, trained English teachers in North Bali on improved teaching methods, and educated students on the responsible use of AI. This experience deepened my understanding of educational inequality in developing communities and shaped my long-term commitment to using data and technology to support underserved populations.
