I presented this research poster at the Laidlaw Symposium at Barnard College in September 2023. This semester, my Laidlaw poster and speech from the Symposium were included in Professor Cohen’s "The Eighteenth-Century Novel" course syllabus, where I had the opportunity to discuss the material history of muslin in the context of Jane Austen’s Northanger Abbey.
