"The Weight of Waiting" shares my six-week Leadership-in-Action project at the Brandon Centre, a charity that helps 16- to 25-year-olds in Camden and Islington facing mental health challenges and housing problems. The poster focuses on the growing number of referrals and longer waiting lists. It shows my journey from seeing these challenges up close in therapy sessions, to taking charge of the Centre's newsletter and outreach, to learning thematic analysis and applying it to real service-user stories, and finally presenting new programme ideas based on that research. Beyond the project tasks, it also shows my personal growth—from feeling unsure in a professional setting to building real confidence through honest feedback, learning new skills, and earning trust.
