Hundreds of thousands of Hong Kongers have been driven away from the city by its crumbling socio-political climate since 2020, which resulted in an ongoing exodus that has rapidly expanded the Hong Kong Diaspora. Cultural identity has always been a subject of interest in Hong Kong given its unique place in history between the East and the West.
