During 2020 I investigated how contact affects breastfeeding within the first 24 hours after birth, by comparing the use of in-bed bassinets vs stand-alone bassinets by new mums. This paper reviews my findings and discusses the implications for future UK breastfeeding policy. (reuploaded)
