In 2025, this wasn't a typical tourist trip. We didn't just visit the well-known spots in Medellin (though you'll have the chance to do that too!). Instead, we explored places that most visitors never see.

Why?
Let's admit it, when we visit a new city, we tend to go to the popular spots recommended by friends or our feed. But any city, especially Medellín, is much more than that. The people here have come together to make Medellin a leader in social innovation, transforming the city through the efforts of diverse communities building new pathways for change.
We saw how resilience, creativity and culture are shaping the perspectives of local populations. Our goal was to understand the context and the impact of the city's transformation through innovative solutions adapted to own realities.

📌 West side of the city:
- Comuna 13: Graffiti tour, street art, hip hop, and break dance as means for transformation.
- Cerro Picacho: The best city view, evident inequalities and providing a unique perspective on Medellin’s growth.
- 12 de Octubre: The final stop on the Metrocable, home to the organization Picacho con Futuro.
📌 East side of the city:
- La Candelaria: Tradition, history, and culture in the heart of downtown.
- La Cruz: A place built with the urgency of displacement but with the solidarity of a community that has come together to rebuild life through culture and sport.
- La Sierra and Las Estancias: A background of resilience and community-driven projects that are making a lasting impact.
- Guatapé: Natural beauty and the spirit of local creativity.
