Kayla Pham - Laidlaw Summer 2023

Hi! My name is Kayla Pham and I am investigating polariton formation as a way to improve energy efficiency. In the video below, I speak to the background of my project while also showing "movies" of electron transport.

Electron flow is central to life and technology on Earth - yet it also often slow and random. I hope to address these limitations in modern-day devices by investigating polaritons as a way to direct electron flow. Using StroboScat (a technique used to visualize the energy landscape around polaritons), I can study and directly visualize the transport of electrons.
