Summary: Columbia Global Engagement supports global field experiences and projects that have an overarching goal of fostering leadership, collaboration and partnership, capacity strengthening, global competence and cross-cultural exchange. This LiA will support Laidlaw Scholars to contribute to empowering communities to solve some of the most urgent global challenges of our time, at the nexus of education; safe water, sanitation, and hygiene promotion (WASH); global health, food security and economic development. You will be using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals as the blueprint to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all, and especially those in underserved communities around the world.

Based in: opportunities are available in a variety of countries and Scholars will be placed based on needs at the time. In accordance with the most recent risk assessments projects are planned for Bolivia, Ghana, India, Jordan, Kenya, Lesotho, Malawi, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, and Zambia.
