The true impact of the LIA venture extended far beyond the professional and volunteer work—it was the friendships that also left a profound mark. We were an incredibly diverse group, with different interests, habits, cultures, and mindsets, yet the connections we formed were both beautiful and powerful. Through sharing thoughts, experiences, and simply co-existing, we taught each other invaluable lessons. Each relationship I formed was unique, and the bonds we created were deeply healing. Being surrounded by such varied yet equally compassionate people was a transformative experience that profoundly enriched my perspective on life and love.
