I am participating in the “Partisan Polarization and ‘Culture War’ Issues” project, which focuses on finding and analyzing the timing, sequence, and causes of the partisan polarization of prominent social issues in the United States. This year, we've seen a large partisan divide with recent topics like COVID-19 and the Black Lives Matter movement, and the project seeks to answer the "how" and "why" this happened. With my research, I hope to find some clarity within the increasingly partisan American politics we see in politics today.
