About Nikola Singband

Niko's research project combines their love of mathematics with their passion for queer equity and inclusion. They are researching how the LGBT+ experience in Irish university mathematics may differ from cisgender and heterosexual students.

They are passionate about queer rights with experience facilitating trans support groups and running large scale community building events. They have worked as the LGBT Rights Officer for the TCD students' union.

They are an avid reader and enjoy creative projects when not busy studying.
