Hi, I'm Carys and I'm a recent Film and Television Production graduate from the University of York.

My research project for the Laidlaw scholarship involves analysing how invisible disabilities are portrayed in film and television and the impact this has on the audience. You can read my full research report on my profile. 

Aside from disability representation/accessibility, some of my other interests include musical theatre, writing and audio production/editing. I've also recently started to learn Spanish.

My research is about the portrayal of invisible disabilities in Film & TV and the impact this has on the audience. My report includes: an overview of current industry targets, invisible vs visible disabilities on screen, an analysis of Film & TV content, questionnaires and suggestions for the future
