During my free time, I love to volunteer with kids— especially children with disabilities. Hey! I am a senior at Tufts University majoring in Biochemistry. I am beyond excited to complete my research project this summer at the Molecular Cardiology Research Institute at Tufts Medical Center, where I will be studying the impact of autophagy regulating miRNAs in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, a cardiovascular disease.
Hi, everyone! My name is Kyla Levin, and I'm a 2021 Cohort Scholar from Tufts University! I major in chemical engineering and computer science, my primary interests being in data sciences, biochemistry, materials science, and cybersecurity. I don't usually have a lot of free time, but when I do, I love curling up with a good book!
Kamil Krukowski is a Polish-American Data Science student. He studies at the Tufts University School of Engineering, in the undergraduate class of 2023. He immigrated to the states in 2007. With a passion and flair for mathematics and computer science, he hopes to hone his unique skills while doing meaningful projects and giving back to others. He is currently conducting research in the field of bioinformatics, specifically machine learning enzyme-protein binding prediction.

Hello fellow scholars! My name is Irene Pantekidis and I am a sophomore at Tufts University. I am looking forward to completing my research this summer which is focused on an antibody treatment for a rare genetic bone disease in zebrafish. I am also excited to meet many of you! In my free time, I enjoy singing and swimming, and I am also passionate about volunteering at Boston Children's Hospital!
