Laidlaw Scholars Breakfast - September 2019  Quarterly Update from the LCBS Executive Board  Dear Laidlaw Community,  Happy New Year! On behalf of the Laidlaw Columbia Business Scholars (LCBS) Executive Board we hope that you had an enjoyable holiday break! In addition, we hope that the beginning of this new decade brings in new opportunities to grow and connect as a community. LCBS Survey  Thank you for taking the time to complete this year’s LCBS Survey. We heard your feedback and are folding in exciting new developments to the LCBS community strategy!  To start, we wanted to share this year’s results with you for you to gain a better idea of how the community is doing. You can find the results here. Note: these results are confidential to LCBS members and not to be shared publicly. Leadership Opportunities  LCBS Mentorship OpportunityWe are excited to launch our LCBS Mentorship program, exclusively for LCBS students and alumnae!The mentorship program will run from January - May 2020 with the expectation that mentors/mentees connect (virtually or in-person) at least twice during this time period. This is a great opportunity to connect within the greater LCBS community and develop strong relationships with the women that makeup this program. To sign up, complete this application by Friday, February 14th. We are a community of women deeply committed to each other and to women in business, funded to help attend CBS by the generous donation of the Laidlaw Foundation founded by Lord Irvine A.S.
