Week 3 in Poznań: Social Media Strategy & Volunteer Support
This week I refreshed Logos NGOs' Instagram presence and built volunteer-ready comms guidance, while supporting broader projects through reporting, coordination, and workshop planning.

This week in my Leadership in Action project, I focused on strengthening Logo NGO’s digital presence while supporting wider team initiatives.
On the social media side, I helped refresh our Instagram by creating a new logo and bio, developing clear volunteer brand guidelines, exploring Linktree, and starting a practical social media policy with templates volunteers can use across different events. I also edited two volunteer-made reels to help amplify more authentic, community-led content. Alongside this, I improved my use of Telegram and analysed platform statistics to finalise a social media report for a larger organisational project.
Beyond comms work, I supported a colleague by helping build an information pack for the TechnoGuard Academy project, and I contributed ideas for media literacy workshops being delivered at a camp next week. I also worked on volunteer coordination by assigning additional responsibilities, with the aim of improving engagement and productivity.
A key learning this week was around time management: balancing strategy writing with ongoing project tasks (plus a week full of meetings and interviews) slowed progress on parts of the Instagram strategy. Next week, I’m planning to protect focused work time earlier in the week and communicate progress and ideas more proactively, so collaboration and feedback can happen sooner but still proud of all that was achieved this week!
