Interviews have been a massive learning curve for me. I was really pleasantly surprised by the amount of people who submitted their emails to be interviewed for my survey, though the amount of people who replied to my email asking them to actually interview has unfortunately been significantly less.

However, the interviews I have already done have been fantastic! I have heard the most fascinating and useful stories and I've loved the chance to speak to these wonderful women and hear about their lives. Its wonderful to realize that something I was so embarrassed about as a teenager is so much more of a universal experience than I thought, and I hope that my research output can help even more women to recognise that they are not alone, and their body hair is nothing to embarrassed about. I've also learnt so much from them and have got the most incredible information for my research report, so hopefully I can do them justice!

In the next week I am looking to conduct a few more interviews (and then do interview transcripts, which is very long and exhausting!), and in the meantime go back and edit what I've already written. I have done most of my survey data analysis and am going to begin interview analysis, though I'll need to finish the interviews before I can fully do interview analysis so I can pick up on key themes.
