Here are my favourite photographs from my time in Berlin!

Each tells a story to me, perhaps because of the memory I associate with each. Yet they can still be appreciated for highlighting the city's history and culture, and how both intertwine.

A Walk Away from Berlin
Taken on my last day as I sat in the taxi to the airport - here was what, to me, was really Berlin: a home for people.
Welcome to Old/New Berlin
The landmark Checkpoint Charlie where East and West met during the divide. It is now surrounded by chain restaurants and small boutiques much like Piccadilly Circus.
The Real Liberated Berlin
With prostitution being legal in Berlin and the rest of Germany - it is a sexually liberated city.
An ode to Sally Bowles from Goodbye to Berlin
Victory Column
The Victory Column monument has been there since 1873 and was erected after the Prussian win at the Second Schleswig War (1864)
Hoxton in a Different City
The art gallery in Schöneberg, covered in commissioned graffiti to give it that 'urban edge'.
The Gallery
Inside the gallery, my favourite piece of work was the room plastered in graffiti and stickers.
The element of something that is normally looked down upon becoming so high-brow.
The Night Train
The local station nearby my room - always busy - always dealing with the Berlin youth pouring down the stairs.
An Evening in Berlin
Dirty streets, bottles of booze, and posters everywhere.
Peoples memories and dreams scattered the city.
A View
A city once divided now floating.
The Welt Balloon which offers a view of the entire city from where the divide stood.
