Everyone’s journey to business school is unique. As part of your business school experience, you will meet an extensive breadth of peers from diverse backgrounds who you will learn from, be inspired by, and inspire. At LBS and beyond, we foster a diverse environment that enables everyone to belong and thrive.

In support of our vision, we have collaborated with the Laidlaw Foundation on the Laidlaw Women’s Leadership Fund for three years, and we are delighted to be continuing our partnership following a generous gift from the Foundation, enabling us to select 20 women each year, who will receive full or half fee scholarships, awarded on their past significant financial hardship, and the impact they aim to make on the way the world does business and the way business impacts the world.

You are invited to join us for this event where you will hear from our Laidlaw scholars, who will share their individual journeys to business school. The panel will discuss their business school experiences, share the challenges they have faced and how they overcame them. There will also be an opportunity to learn more about the Laidlaw scholarship application process and criteria. There will be plenty of time for your questions.

Am I eligible for the Laidlaw Women’s Leadership Fund?
We welcome applications from exceptional women from diverse backgrounds who have faced significant financial hardship in their past, who may represent the first generation in their family to access higher education, and who may currently demonstrate financial need. We recognise that all personal circumstances are different, and therefore all applications are considered on a case-by-case basis.
