Mapping two decades of syndemic research in the United States: a scoping review, 2005-2025

A syndemic is two or more epidemics that cluster in a population, interact synergistically at the biological/behavioural level, and are driven by shared adverse social/structural conditions. We mapped US syndemic research from 2005-2025, building on Singer’s review of 2015-2019 trends for my LIA.
