This summer of 2022, myself and three other Laidlaw Scholars (Sarrah Hakimjee, Isla Thomson, and Laoise Murray) traveled to London from July to September to intern for Tortoise Media. This was one of the Central Projects offered by the Laidlaw Network and recorded at the very end of our time there. In it, we discuss the experience and takeaways of being a Tortoise intern, delve into our daily work, and discuss problems and challenges faced.
