This week I finished all of my final work for my abroad program in Santiago, Chile and began doing some preliminary research about the chilean legal system to prepare for my LIA at FIMA, a nonprofit that does environmental policy work. Although I’ve had 5 months here to improve my Spanish I am still a bit nervous about having to write in a formal manner and read legal documents, but as long as I ask questions I’m sure it will be okay. I’m excited to go into the office and meet everyone on the team on Tuesday!
