Hi All! I wanted to introduce myself to the Alumni room. My name is Serra Muftu and I completed my Laidlaw Scholars Undergraduate Research Program between 2019 and 2020 at Tufts University, making me a recent alumnus. I am currently the North American Chapter President for Laidlaw. I am a fourth-year biology major and on the pre-medical track. I plan to take a year after graduating from Tufts to do research and then hopefully attend medical school. I am particularly interested in approaching medicine through the lens of social equity and love to learn about endocrinology and development. In my free time, I enjoy running, baking, and reading. I help organize the career panels for the Laidlaw foundation so please reach out to me if you are interested in organizing and moderating a career-focused panel!
