I am really looking forward to sharing my work with you all! Being the sole interviewer and researcher on this social science/nature-based solutions project has been very new for me, and the transformative impact it has had on my personal and professional growth will always be close to my heart.
Platforming the voices of the communities that I have interviewed is the most important aspect of this project. They are the inspiration behind me dreaming up my idea for this research, and they motivate me to keep working to help both local communities and nature. I am very grateful for being given the opportunity through this scholarship to dedicate time to listening to the wisdom, dreams, and ambitions of community-led biodiversity groups here in Dublin. I have so much faith in the power of their work, and the power of community leadership to help save the rapidly declining nature in our world.
I can't wait to continue my quest to help create better supports for community groups working to help nature and improving the lives of all living in their local area!
The intersection of social issues and nature is what inspires me. Throughout my work, my aim is creating a world where people and nature live in a reciprocal and harmonious relationship. I love spending my time getting to know how to best serve the interests of communities. I want to empower people to create the changes they want to see in their local area, and help communities radically transform local nature and biodiversity around the world.
