Role: Communications, Content and Design 
Location: London (Hybrid – Wed–Fri in-office) 
Duration: 3 weeks (with the opportunity to extend an additional week)

Are you a current or former Laidlaw Scholar eager to deepen your impact, gain hands-on experience, and support mission-driven work? We are looking for a Communications, Content and Design Intern to join the Laidlaw Foundation team this summer for a short-term, high-impact opportunity.  

🧠 What You’ll Do  

You’ll be an integral part of our Marketing, Content and Design efforts, helping us better engage with our community and elevate our brand. Responsibilities include: 

• Grouping past Leadership Quote of the Week posts to improve SEO of the Laidlaw Foundation website  

• Researching key calendar moments relevant to Laidlaw Scholars to inform leadership quote scheduling 

• Collating previous Leadership Lab video snippets according to Laidlaw Values  

• Assisting with merchandise and décor planning for the conference, including supplier research and obtaining quotes 

• Contributing to the design and production of the Leadership in Action workbook and handbook 

• Assisting with marketing materials for programme recruitment 

• Editing Leadership Lab video content 

• Helping manage our growing WhatsApp community 

• Supporting Megan (Laidlaw Schools Trust) with marketing and content creation 

• Assisting with redesign and content updates for the Laidlaw Schools Trust website

• Proficiency in Excel 

• Strong project management and organisational skills

📍 Location  

Hybrid role, based in Central London. You must be available to work from our office Wednesday to Friday each week during the internship period. Unfortunately, we cannot provide travel or accommodation support. 

Compensation  

You will be paid London Living Wage.
