Fiji LIA 2022 Reunion at my Wedding on June 24th, 2023

Some of my Leadership in Action team from our Think Pacific Project last summer joined me and my family to support and celebrate my wedding on June 24th, 2023.

The Laidlaw Scholars I met on my LIA last summer are some of my best friends. We all came from different backgrounds but our time in Fiji made us very close and we grew to know each other more. Last summer, during the project, I mentioned I wanted them to come to my wedding if possible. On June 24th, 2023, seven of my Fiji friends were able to attend my wedding and celebrate this day with us. We enjoyed reconnecting and spending time together. Although the time was short, I will cherish these memories and friends forever.
