It was so great to go to the American Museum of Natural History (AMNH), and to introduce current Laidlaw Scholars with Laidlaw alum Meghan Forcellati, now a doctoral candidate at the museum. Not only did Meghan share how her Laidlaw research continues to shape her work today, but she also led a fantastic tour and discussion about the natural world—from the importance of healthy ecosystems to the insights that can come from studying lizards, including fossils dating back 20 million years. Thank you for a great visit!
